HYDROEXTRACTOR FOR TUBOLAR KNIT AIRBALLOON

BALLOON HYDROEXTRACTOR FOR TUBULAR KNIT FABRIC

AIRBALLOON ST enables you to obtain a treatment with excellent results, rationalising the processing phases after dyeing, which traditionally include centrifugal hydro-extraction, detensioning, folding the tubular knit fabric through a rope opener.

It prepares the tubular knit fabric for the final drying phase, combining all of the abovementioned phases into one. It also enables you to obtain a “grain line” and apply chemical products onto the fabric such as softeners, starches, etc.

The machine is available in several models with the following common characteristics:

  • Rope opening function
  • Spirality removal obtaining an excellent grain line
  • Perfect squeezing without creases on the edges.
  • Fabric folding
  • The knit fabric does not deform as no mechanical widening system is used for both fabric rope opening and the balloon formation.
  • Minimum tension due to the conveyor belt system (patented).
  • Balloon formation checking by photocells.
  • Possibility of overcharging the squeezing cylinders through the conveyor belts.
  • Squeezing pressure 0 - 500 N/cml.
  • Maximum mechanical speed 80 m/1'.
  • Extremely easy drawing-in
  • Simple and extremely reduced maintenance.
  • Extremely easy to disassemble squeezing cylinders without any particular tools.
  • Stainless steel structure.

AIR BALLOON ST1

Machine with only one pair of squeezing cylinders, used for rope opening, squeezing and folding.

AIR BALLOON ST2

The double squeeze Air balloon ST2 enables the knit fabric to be starched in the same unit.

The first pair of cylinders widen and squeeze excess water, the second pair, with a impregnation tank, provides the finishing with starch.
The two pairs of squeezers are independently controlled to compensate for the elongation due to the squeezing effect, therefore avoiding any creasing.

The main advantages added to the single squeezing version are:

  • Possibility to use wet-on-wet method.
  • Reduced drawing-in.
  • Pick-up of 10-20% of finishing product.
  • Squeezing pressure of the independently adjustable second pair 0 – 500 N/cml.
